Golf Instruction
at Eastman Golf Links

2008 Information is here! Click on PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS below.

The golf instruction staff at Eastman is experienced. The staff is skilled in helping first time golfers learn the basics, encouraging people that played golf years ago to give it another try, or coach the obsessed player to shooting lower scores. The instructors are trained in teaching clear golf concepts first, then showing you how the club and ball affect each other and finally how the body needs to move to produce a good result. The instructors know how to communicate with young children, working, busy adults, and retired players alike. Tell the staff what it is you want from golf and they will help you achieve your goals. Golf is such a great social, mental, physical and spiritual activity. Are you getting your fair share of it?

Learn in a Group

Whether you are an experienced golfer or a beginner, male or female, righty or lefty, tall or short, member or guest, you play once a year or fifty times, can hit a drive 100 yards or 300 yards, we have an improvement program for you. Time is spent at the driving range as well as on the course. Bring a desire to have fun and learn golf in small doses and you will succeed. Group sessions are offered weekdays in the a.m. and p.m. and weekend afternoons too.

Be ready to have fun, learn a little at a time, and laugh! You might consider bringing a pencil and notebook.

Private Instruction *These are 2008 rates

Golf instruction needs reality. Not every shot is on a flat lie in the fairway. The driving range is a good place to learn important golf concepts, swing fundamentals, and specific drills; however, the course needs to be utilized when it comes to teaching specialty shots, course strategy, and the ability to 'score.' Options for lessons include 15-minute assessments, 1-hour privates, video, and several multi-session programs. Also, if you are more serious about your equipment, club fittings are available by appointment on most days.

Natural Golf Clinics

The Natural Golf method allow golfers to hit straight shots, time after time. It is the most direct way to strike a ball because the golfer is swinging on a single plane. The three main tenets of the method are: the Natural hold, stable stance and leverage to the target through single plane.

For more information on the Natural Golf Technique, please talk with Mark Larrabee in the Golf Shop at 603.863.4500.
